Impact Health Institute is a rehab-based chiropractic clinic committed to treating the whole person. We take the time to understand you and your goals and stay informed on the latest research to provide top-tier care for you and your family.Through personalized assessments, we work with you to create tailored plans that address these goals. We utilize adjustments, soft tissue work, and functional rehabilitation to help you feel, move, and perform your best! About Dr. Dylan Baker, DC:

Dr. Dylan Baker is a dedicated chiropractic physician committed to empowering his patients to achieve their health and movement goals. His passion for serving others, combined with a deep interest in health and human performance, led him to the chiropractic profession. Through his own sports injuries, Dr. Baker found that chiropractic care integrated with rehabilitation and proper nutrition can extend beyond pain relief and improve performance. He is passionate about helping individuals perform at their best, whether it's a high-level athlete striving for a scholarship or a retiree eager to stay active with their grandchildren.

Dr. Baker's journey has allowed him to learn from the top clinicians in his field. Driven by a desire to bring these cutting-edge practices to the Des Moines Metro, he founded Impact Health Institute. He envisions Impact Health Institute as a valuable resource to serve Iowans on their health journey.

Originally from Bondurant, Iowa, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from Benedictine College before pursuing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University, where he graduated with honors.

Driven by a passion for continuous learning, Dr. Baker has completed over 300 hours of additional education, ensuring he provides the most up-to-date and effective care. He is a strong advocate for his patients, taking the time to understand their unique needs and develop a plan that reflects these goals.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Baker enjoys exploring his diverse interests. You might find him sipping on some specialty coffee, reading a good book, getting a good workout in, cooking in the kitchen, practicing archery, or being in the outdoors.

Impact Health Institute is a cash-based, musculoskeletal specialist clinic. This model gives you more time with your physician and a more personalized healthcare experience that is not available through traditional insurance-based models. Unfortunately, traditional health insurance does not currently reimburse for prolonged patient visits and integrative care that make Impact Health Institute unique.
